  • Swiss chard and tomato sauce, simmering on the stove.

    I take a picture of this dish every time I make it — garlic, chard, & tomatoes, waiting for pasta to be thrown in — but the pics are never as beautiful as it is in person.

  • No fresh bread Thursday. We do have a decent freezer stock, and McGrath’s arrives fresh at 9am on Friday morning as usual. While I’m at it, I’ll give you a heads up — next week we’ll have Talking Breads fresh on Thursday, and McGrath’s fresh on Saturday (arriving around 9am), but there won’t be any fresh bread on Friday.
  • BUTTER BLOWOUT continues — Apple Valley Creamery’s grass-fed butter is on sale for $7/tub (usually $8.50).
  • Since we got only a third of the dandelion greens we asked for last week, we’ve got ’em again this week — this time in good quantity. So if those are something you want this is your week to get them!
  • Cilantro is here! Rainbow chardScallions! Spinach! And so many baby greens, suitable for salads, or a quick saute.
  • And the biggest quick thing of all — you’ll notice this week that things look a little different. It’s still a work in progress, but we’re excited to have added some additional space! This is mostly to give us (and you) some more breathing room, but look for a few new products filtering in over the next few weeks, and some new features, too. More on that in future weeks. 🙂
