I left a meeting that had been going for over two and a half hours so I could come home and get this post out before “bedtime”. So — mostly those quick things, but also this shot of my biggest food victory of the week. That’s a bed of the Asian mix we’ve got, a heap of emmer, a smattering of roasted sweet potatoes, a generous drizzle of carrot ginger dressing, and a garnish of quick pickled purple radishes. The number of components involved meant that it took a little while to put it together, but, I made enough of everything that I was then able to eat various configurations of those components in different ways through the week. Except the radishes. I ate too many of those while the sweet potatoes were roasting.

The whole thing was an aesthetic and gastronomic success, but that carrot ginger dressing is amazing.
